Andréa’s Occasions is a full service event planning and coordination company. My goal is to give you the event you’ve always dreamed of; an event that reflects your unique personality and style; an event that you and your guests will enjoy. With experience in planning weddings, bridal showers, engagement parties, baby showers, birthday parties, private parties, reunions, team building events, ministry events, and non-profit events, it would be my honor to help plan your next special occasion. We will discuss all your ideas, then create a plan with a variety of options for you to consider. Then with your approval, we will make it all happen, keeping you updated regularly, of course. You can just sit back and sample cake, taste champagne, and smell the roses (Thinking of removing). We’ll manage your entire event or just certain elements of it. It is your decision. Each special occasion is a time for joy and happiness. Don’t spend it stressing about the details. Planning an event can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be! Pay for peace of mind 🙂

Hello! My name is Andréa Sargent and I own and operate Andréa’s Occasions. This is the part where I tell you a little about me….
I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA where I graduated from Carlow College with a BA in Business Communications in 2004. At Carlow, I was the President of the Student Activities Committee where I helped plan various campus activities and events, such as parties, dinners, fundraisers, and talent shows. It was in my junior year that I decided I wanted to pursue a career in event planning.
I relocated to Columbus, OH in 2009, became a Certified Professional Bridal Consultant in 2011, and started planning and assisting with many events, such as baby showers, weddings, retreats, and team building events. I volunteered with the Michael Redd Foundation, working on their signature Now or Never event, where I was the Volunteer Event Coordinator and Assistant to the Chief Operations Officer. In 2013, I started Andréa’s Occasions.
I have a true passion for event planning. I love the excitement of the planning process, the anticipation, and expectation of the end result. I love seeing the look on clients’ faces when they see their ideas and visions come to life, along with the look of joy and happiness of the event attendees.
